With over 20 years of experience in acute care nursing, I am a dedicated Emergency Nurse Practitioner currently practicing in the Emergency Department at Lyell McEwin Hospital. Prior to my role at LMH, I spent over six years in the Emergency Department at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, where I gained extensive experience managing pediatric clients. My diverse background includes working in both rural and metropolitan hospitals, enabling me to effectively manage a wide range of demographics and clinical scenarios.
In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as a Reserve Army Nursing Officer with the Australian Defence Force, providing nursing and Nurse Practitioner services at clinics and during defense exercises and deployments. For the past three years, I have also contributed to the academic community as a tutor and mentor for Nursing and Nurse Practitioner students at the University of South Australia.
I am passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and thrive in fast-paced environments where critical thinking and quick decision-making are essential.
