Melissa graduated from the Flinders University of SA with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Speech
Pathology in 1993.She is currently a Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia.
Melissa has spent the majority of her career working with children and families in both community and hospital settings.

 

She has had extensive experience in working with children with developmental delays and disabilities, including Autism, and their families. She has a wide knowledge base of the services available for children and has a passion for providing support to the parents of those with special needs.

More recently, Melissa has enjoyed the challenge of diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorders in both children and adults. She is skilled in differentially diagnosing Autism from other childhood
Neurodevelopmental disorders and has had extensive experience in working with children with
behavioural issues and trauma.
